Roger de Ste Croix

Roger is an IRCA registered External Auditor, in Quality Management and has undertaken a considerable amount of work auditing services in the Care and Health sectors to the ISO 9001:2008 Standard. He currently provides consultancy to organisations wishing to develop and implement quality systems.

He initially qualified as a social worker and managed social work teams in a variety of settings, including Children’s and Disability teams. Whilst Quality Assurance Manager for Hertfordshire Social Services Department, he developed a Quality Management System (QUIP) and oversaw its successful implementation in care establishments across the County. Subsequently many of the services involved obtained the ISO 9001 quality award. Amongst other roles, he was also responsible for performance management and improvement at both an operational and strategic level.

Roger was chair of the Local Authorities and Communities Group at the British Quality Foundation from 2007 until early 2011, having previously chaired the Social Care Group.

He is a Trustee of IPSEA (A national charity which offers special educational advice and legal support to parents of children with disabilities) and a Director of Cambridge City Football Club.
